RULES & REGULATIONS FOR USE OF ASBURY RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

(Effective August, 2023)

Ball Diamond – Basketball Court – Playgrounds - Shelter

Association members in good standing have the right to enjoy the Common Area and recreational facilities. Any member who is delinquent in their dues (dues not paid by April 30 of said year) or has been suspended by the Board for various reasons will not be allowed to reserve or use the recreational facilities. Use of the recreational facilities is at your own risk. The HOA is not responsible for any accidents or injuries. Guests at the recreational areas must be well supervised by an Asbury Farm Association member and will be asked to leave if no member is present. Any persons using the recreational and common areas may be asked to leave the premises for any improper behavior (abusive language, rule violations, property damage, violence, etc.) The Common Area and recreational facilities close down at 10:00 PM.

Ball Diamond

Use of the ball diamond is for Asbury Association members only. Guests may be invited only if an Asbury member has issued an invitation and is present at the time of use. Little League coaches may reserve use of the diamond for practice through the recreational contact person. That contact person will publish the dates reserved on the HOA Facebook page. The diamond is to be used for practice – no formal games/scrimmages. All vehicles need to park on Asbury Drive, not in the nearby cul-de-sacs. Diamond privilege may be revoked if visiting team members park on the cul-de-sacs. Ball diamond was designed and maintained for the use of U12 baseball teams, U14 softball teams, and other recreational non hard ball activities such as but not limited to Wiffle Ball, Kick Ball, etc. No alterations to the diamond can be made without written approval from the Recreation Committee.

Basketball Court

Use of the basketball court is for Asbury Association members only. Guests may be invited only if an Asbury member has issued an invitation and is present at the time of use. Persons using the basketball court need to be respectful to others in regards to length of play. Should it be necessary to reserve the court, please contact the recreational contact person. Players using a vehicle are asked to park on Asbury Drive. No alterations of the courts can be made without written approval from the Recreation Committee.

Playgrounds

Asbury playgrounds are for HOA member families and their guests under the age of 12. Use of playgrounds is ‘play at your own risk’. Playgrounds close at 10PM.
